About me

Oliver here. I write about a lot of different things, mostly for The New York Times and The New York Times Magazine, but also for The New Yorker and the London Review of Books. I have worked stints at National Geographic Magazine and National Public Radio (where I was an intern for the now defunct podcast Invisibilia), and was the 2022-2023 Science Fellow at The New York Times. I graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in philosophy and am working on a novel.
